It’s been 30 years already? It’s hard imagining what he would be like at 55 years old, and what his music would be like today… RIP Randy… March 19, 1982: Randy Rhoads, the guitar virtuoso who played with Ozzy Osbourne, died in a small aircraft crash in Leesburg, Florida, during a stop between concert dates. The band’s hairdresser and the pilot also perished when the wing of the plane they were in clipped Osbourne’s tour bus (the pilot was intentionally “buzzing” the bus), lost control and slammed into the garage of a nearby house.
